But I can also imagine them as TV mini-series. Good actors might do the trick. For me, both books left me with lingering vague images of background settings/landscape rather than characters or plots. Before I got my Kindle, I got most books from the library, and in Swedish. In later years, I've read a lot more in English than in Swedish! Many of them have been turned into made-for-TV movies. They have a reputation for being rather flat and foreseeable, but since I have not read the books, I don't know how much of this is due to the material or the film makers.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4609118120551505936.post-31070971321513906872021-02-01T19:55:56.351+01:002021-02-01T19:55:56.351+01:00You always choose such interesting books. and usua...You always choose such interesting books. and usually ones I have never heard of (Except Obama's book).Ginny Hartzlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329131153403895625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4609118120551505936.post-90747685322075700232021-02-01T16:54:11.560+01:002021-02-01T16:54:11.560+01:00Jenny, I've liked all books by Tracy Chevalier...Jenny, I've liked all books by Tracy Chevalier that I've read too. I believe a film is either just about to come out, or has just come out, about Ms. Anning. IN Dorset I was most intereted to visit a beautiful museum https://www.theetchescollection.org/ which is based upon the collection of an "ordinary person" who lived locally. Most remarkable stuff there and I was glad that he at least has finally had some recognition for his remarkable self taught work.Jenny Woolfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16881781466502273314noreply@blogger.com
