As for mango, I don't think I have ever had one at home, only as part of a delicious dessert at my favourite Indian restaurant.
At the moment, I very much enjoy peaches and apricots, and from my parents' allotment, I am getting raspberries and blackberries, which are so, so very good.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4609118120551505936.post-3097949137693809252013-08-24T18:44:52.681+02:002013-08-24T18:44:52.681+02:00I love pineapple and have a wonderful gadget for d...I love pineapple and have a wonderful gadget for dealing with them.Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4609118120551505936.post-33043108928106573232013-08-21T21:28:11.710+02:002013-08-21T21:28:11.710+02:00The mango is easy to cut and peel. Then stand it up and holding onto the green top, start cutting all around from top to bottom. then lay it down and cut the top off. Cut off each side of the mango leaving the seed for last. You can then dice the flesh of each half and scoop it out, or do like me and cut each of the halves into strips and then eat them that way.
The seed I eat the flesh off by hand...be careful of the juice....it flows quite quickly and you may end up full of mango juice. Eat the seed over a plate or over the sink while saying "Aaah, uuummmmm...sooo good..."
Enjoy!!VirginiaChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17282569773671179047noreply@blogger.com
