Out walking (around the old cemetery), from the
corner of my eye, across a fence, I became aware of Something Blue that just did not fit
in among the natural autumn colours...
I haven't got a clue what it's supposed to be. I uploaded my photo to Google Image Search and various images of weird art projects came up, as well as just rubbish dumped in nature. This definitely looks "made" rather than just dumped, though.

ReplyDeleteCarol, taking a second look today it looks more like it's part of an attempt to build some kind of hut or fort by adding (braiding) some loose branches between trees and bushes. So I'm thinking probably kids - perhaps just adding the gloves to mark the spot... or whatever...
Deletegood idea on the lost and found. this looks made, but zooming in it could be something that got ripped and caught. kind of like giant rubber gloves on ends of cross stick. had to tell, but we do know its not nature
ReplyDeleteSandra, it looks like they also used some torn gloves to bind some sticks together - unclear for what purpose. (Cf my reply to Coppa's girl above.)
DeleteMaybe someone left their rubbish behind and someone else thought they would put them on display for the person to pick up.
ReplyDeleteAmy, on second look it seems more likely to me that some kids playing probably just used whatever happened to be available (including those gloves thrown away by someone else).
