I don't recall where I got this from... ;)

  1. This is what I always say. I don't have dementia. It's just that my brain is so full of information over the decades, that I have had to offload stuff I haven't used in a while. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

  2. I agree! Our brains are so stuffed with information that it takes more time to find the thing we want!

    1. Ginny, just as with "stuff", one needs to prioritize what to keep... ;)

  3. I completely lost a word we were talking about during a phone conversation today. And rather than own up that I couldn't think of it, I changed the subject and asked a question. Then worried until I remembered that word!

    1. Barbara, I do crosswords, but rarely try to do the whole thing at a time. Sometimes I just have no idea... But the next time I pick up the paper, it comes to me immediately. Just proves to me that it's really "there" in my memory all the time, it's just a question of accessing it... (lol)

  4. "I don't recall where I got this from..." That is probably because your brain is overloaded. Hell. you simply cannot remember everything Monica! Do you know where your keys are?

  5. I like this and it's true it does take a while to drag out the memories and information.

    1. Ro, there's certainly a lot of stuff that passes through one's head just in one day (whether anyone else notices, or not!)
