Another sunny and really cold winter day today. I was out for about half an hour in the middle of the day, walking very slowly with support of both my poles. Above a photo from the playground park in the middle of the housing estate; but mostly I just walked back and forth on a path along the football field for a while, because it was both sunny and quiet there. Safer than the street, and hardly even any other people about just then.

beautiful snow pictures. I forgot my pole this morning and found I missed it. Have been using it for walking with Beau about 2 or 3 weeks. no snow walking, just pavement walking and a few patches of grass
ReplyDeleteSandra, I remember from last spring it felt weird when I started to get back to walking without the poles again after winter. This year I'll probably depend on them a good while longer - if I ever get back to leaving them behind again...!
DeleteThe playground looks beautiful in the snow!
ReplyDeleteIt is good to have a choice of paths where you can walk away from traffic, and always close to home if you feel you've been out long enough.
Meike, yes, where I live is quite good from that point of view - even if lately I have also found myself wishing that the city centre was a *little* bit closer... ;)
DeleteWhat a beautiful day. Blue, blue sky and fresh white snow and clean air.
ReplyDeleteJanice, It was indeed a beautiful day and I'm glad I was able to get out for a while.
DeleteLovely snow pics, ours has already gone.
