Azaleas and Rhododendron

Spring seemed to realize somewhere in mid May that perhaps it was going too fast. So it slowed down a bit. I appreciate that, as it means we got to enjoy all the beautiful azaleas and rhododendron in the parks and gardens and cemeteries a bit longer...

Horse chestnut trees. Most of them around here have white flowers but some are pink like this.



 Azaleas of all colours. (These grow in the old cemetery.)

they are all, every single photo just fantastic. beautiful flowers and trees and colors and I never thought that Sweden would have the same flowers as my mother had... I have learned a lot about your country in the past few years

I don't think I have ever seen a yellow azalea! And I don't know why. Nor have I seen Horse Chestnut blooms. Gorgeous pictures!!

Azaleas are such happy bushes. Rhododendrons can be a menace when they grow wild but some cultivars are spectacular.
