gorgeous and all from your balcony, wow. i just showed it to bob and said, your sky looks like our sky. this is called a mackerel sky and means weather is about to change

Terra, it's the right time of year for me to catch the sunset from my balcony sometimes.
I like that name for them! (not sure I heard that before)
Sandra, I've heard that name, and yes the weather has been changing... It's gone from "late summer" to more autumn-like now.
Whatever we prefer to call them or liken them to, they're rather dramatic!
