I have just had one of the weirdest moment I've had for a long time. At some time yesterday the picture of the mask and chairs (perhaps the whole picture but I only vividly recall the mask and chairs) has appeared on my laptop or phone but in what context I have absolutely no idea. Anyway I have just listened to the song (which I knew of course) and given the grey, miserable rainy day here it did make me feel good.
Graham, my guess is that I'm probably not alone in having this song pop to mind lately! (in connection with the current weather situation in most of Europe). At least now you know that those images belong to an old Paul Simon album!
Northsider, the blue is indeed beautiful, but in a heatwave also a bit threatening! I was quite relieved to see a few more clouds appear later on. (No rain, just a bit of relief from the heat of the sun.)
Beautiful blue! You sent me on a side trip to Paul Simon's 'Was a Sunny Day.' Most enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteJanice, it's a song that often comes to mind for me when I see a sky like this :)
