It soon became obvious that the many minis seen in town today must be more than a coincidence!
Typically I had left my camera at home, but fortunately I did remember to bring my mobile phone (cellphone).
(A maxi mini?)

hubby and i have often said if we had the money we would love to have a mini cooper, i had not idea they came in trucks and suv and so many colors. i love the lime green and the truck. i will show this to bob.
The funny thing is that while I was approaching the square from the other side, I was thinking to myself that it seemed to be a very "quiet" Saturday, in summer it's Thursday evenings that are in focus for events in town... Then before I reached the other end of the square, all the minis started arriving to prove me wrong!
What tremendous fun. It makes you realise just how small the original Mini is. Oh dear, Monica, how could you have gone out without your camera? Mind you nowadays I am aware that the camera in my phone is better than the original digital bridge camera I had. Certainly from your photos today I could not have told you that they were from a phone.
What an odd thing. I cannot imagine why a load of minis would get together (or, rather their owners). If I wanted to have a collectors car I'd get a more exotic kind of car. Oh well, guess that just shows me up to be a philistine as far as cars are concerned, I bet they're very collectable really :D
Really terrific SOOC shots!!
I think the minis are such cute little cars. I actually looked at one once to buy, but it was a little out of my price range. Your photos are great!
Sometimes when my purpose is shopping, I leave the camera at home, wanting as few things about me as possible to start with. Especially now that I know I've always got a back-up camera in the phone! If I know something special is going on I like to have my better camera though - and also when I just go for a walk.
I love the one with the raised chassie and big wheels. How fun.
