Weekend Reflections: A New View

CIMG2195-001

The stairs you see across the water here are part of a new addition to the “promenade” along the river in the centre of my town. That section of the riverbank has not been open to the public before, but will be soon. I’m looking forward to it! I think it’s a great idea to extend the possibilities for pedestrians to follow the river the whole way through town.

What a lovely scene. It looks like the area was designed with photography in mind.

Oh MY, what a beautiful picture!!! So the idea is to sit on the step and dangle your feet in the water? I don't think I have seen steps that go into water before, but then you even have that statue in the water! Whatever their purpose, they are so beautiful, and this picture would not be NEAR as pretty without them! I love the pretty curve, too. It is really like art.

It really looks good and like you, I like the idea of pedestrians being able to follow the course of the river through as much of the town as possible.
