Ain't talkin', just walkin'
Up the road, around the bend
Heart burnin', still yearnin'
In the last outback at the world's end
Bob Dylan – Ain’t Talkin’
It’s been one of those incredible sunny and mild autumn weekends when all one can really do is to keep walking – and snapping a million photos…The first five here are from/near the old cemetery close to where I live, and where I walk very often, all year round. The last five images are from the ‘new’ and murch larger cemetery on the outskirts of the city, further away and in another direction for me – but still within walking distance “on a good day”… (like today!)
Wonderful shots! In the first picture, I see that you are a mere ghost of yourself! That one is my favorite! I think I will experiment with a shot like this, it is really perfect. My next favorites are #5, and the waterfall.
ReplyDeleteGinny, good thing the sun was shining or I might have scared myself... ;) (On the other hand: without the sun I wouldn't have cast a shadow!)
DeleteThese are all great and show in a wonderful way how the topic "shadow" can be interpreted. It eas very warm here all weekend, up to 27 C - and I have packed away my summer things a few weeks ago!
ReplyDeleteThanks Meike. Not quite as warm as that here, but around 20'C yesterday I think.
Deleteabsolutely stunning photos. each and everyone is special. all that autumn color is mind blowing. what a wonderful walk, in all these places.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra. Knowing that this explosion of colours will be fading fast, I try to make the most of it :)
DeleteBeautiful Autumn photos - loving the bold colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy
DeleteYour colorful and shadow shots put me in a jolly mood!

DeleteI really enjoyed those which, given the horrible weekend we had, is very heart warming.
