Skywatch Friday - Cherry Blossom
After I had been to search for wood anemones yesterday, I also went to check on this little park with old cherry blossom trees. (The wood anemones in yesterday's post grow just behind the houses you see here...) While life in other ways may be restricted just now, Nature is not holding back, but offering the same splendour as usual. A feast for the eyes, and for the soul.

Beautiful, nice to see the pink blossoms
There are lots of cherry trees at the university in Seattle. Due to the pandemic they asked people not to come to take pictures this year. - Margy
Beautiful! Do they give off scent? I've come across a very pretty hedge of yellow dogroses, with hardly any detectable scent.
Margy, I can see that being a problem in big cities and famous places... Here there were no other visitors than me at the time :) It's a small park in a residential area and probably not much visited by anyone who does not live nearby.
Meike, no, I have not noticed these trees giving off much scent (if any).
What beautiful photos, absolutely joyful.
