Goodness, these are all so different! How many have you seen? The one on the bottom with diagonal stripes is what our barber poles look like. And the tall skinny black and white one looks like no one could even fit in it! Perhaps it is all robotic!
I received the same very postcard some time ago. It helped me to identify some other lighthouses on postcards (because I've never been to the Netherlands).
I've never been inside one, and not sure at how many I may been up close to. Probably a few in Sweden and Britian, long time ago. But all in all, not very many, I think.
It certainly is, John. I know I have received a few more cards with lighthouses on them, but this one I knew where to find (filed by country)... And I decided it would be enough :)
Hi Monica! Thanks for sharing this postcard with different styles of lighthouses in Netherlands. It makes me very curious about the factors that determine the appearance of a lighthouse. Thanks for sharing and linking up. Until next weekend.

Lighthouses have always fascinated me, visit one any chance I get.
Wow! Many lighthouses! It is interesting to see the different styles, even within one country. Thanks for posting it.

What a great selection on one card!

I like all the details about them on the back, what a span of ages. Super card.

The Netherlands certainly seem to have a great variety of them!
Ginny, I've never been to the Netherlands, so have never seen any of these "live".
When I read the word lighthouse, what pops first to mind for me is a round, white tower. This card had made me rethink a bit...

I've never been to the Netherlands either, Eva A.
Yes, I appreciate the facts printed on the back... Makes it so much easier to find out more if one wants to :)
