Today, I went back to check on it - and now there is no doubt: A lot has happened since I last saw it, but there is obviously still more to come! (Of course I'm now also thinking I should have realized...! But it is hard to know with Art sometimes, isn't it!?)
Linking to Weekend Reflections #556
cant wait to see the completed one, it is beautiful already
ReplyDeleteIt IS a work in progress! And I adore the picture with the water reflection.
ReplyDeleteTo see the mural at its various stages of development is more interesting than what the finished work will be - it will be beautiful, no doubt, but the special appeal it has now will be gone.
ReplyDeleteMeike, you've got a point in that it's interesting to see it "come alive", but I don't doubt that on the whole, it will look better when finished. If I knew when the artist would be working on it, I'd like to go and watch him paint for a while as well. But I guess that probably depends both on the weather and what else he has going on - so hard to predict!
DeleteIt's going to be a crackingly good mural.
ReplyDeleteGraham, I'm sure it will. For now, I'm still wondering whether he'll keep to shades of green in the background, or if he'll be adding other colours as well. Best not take anything for granted until it's officially finished! ,)
DeleteIt's nice to see so far 2 children looking after each other, we need more of that in our world.
ReplyDeleteAmy - ... and hopefully looking into a greener future!(?)
DeleteGreat reflections of a impressive Picture on the wall
ReplyDeleteIt´s really a Art work !
