everything is so pretty, i prefer broad over narrow but each has its own beauty. I love those brown and white homes. are they homes are flats? the ones up top and the last photo. they appeal to me
What a contrast from your previous photos! It all looks so pristine with the deep blue sky and brilliant snow. Today we're enjoying 20ºC, and the weather has warmed up considerably since the beginning of the week. Today is forecast to be cloudy but at the moment the sun is shining and the sky an almost cloudless deep blue.
Looks like a good day to be out. No snow here, and tomorrow the forecast is for 20C, only for the thermometer to take a dip mid-week… I predict many people will come down with colds and headaches, but I am determined to take advantage of the good weather.
Meike, another sunny or semi-sunny day here, but still very cold. We had a refill of another thin layer of white yesterday afternoon (which has not thawed away yet) - and worse is expected again tomorrow, I understand... I'll probably go out for a short walk again this afternoon, but not too far from home.

Such a beautiful blue sky. The contrast with the white of the snow and the buildings is quite stunning.
I love the tree limbs framed by the intense blue sky, and the shadows on the snow.

JC, it was one of those days when my camera dragged me out in spite of some hesitations about the road conditions... ;)
Ginny, I remembered to bring my sunglasses this time. The glare from the combination of sun+snow this time of year can be quite blinding.
Sandra, I think most of those houses are just for one family, but I'm not sure. I suppose some of them could have a separate flat upstairs.
Carol, the big difference "just" seems to be around 20C, then! ;-) ...

I know you're probably a bit tired of the snow but it really is beautiful. I'd love to see some here.
Amy, I'd gladly tell the next round of it (expected tomorrow) to go visit New Zealand instead, but I suspect it won't listen to me! ;-)
