Black-and-white view from the window down in the basement laundry room today. With all the red days falling on weekdays lately, I ended up doing weekday work on the weekend...
(From this short post you should be able to conclude that while it's still snowing, electricity and water and the internet are still functioning here, and I'm "ok"...)

Whoah! When I first saw the picture before reading that it was from the basement window, I thought it was the trees outside your apartment - THAT would be some snow...!!!
ReplyDeleteGood to know you're fine. Not sure whether you heard about the situation in Berlin, where around 40.000 households are without electricity at the moment - which for most of them also means without heating.
It has been snowing some more here in my part of Germany, but nothing to worry about, just regular January weather.
Meike, there are no trees that close to my apartment... These are rhododendron bushes along the front of the building. My guess is that we have around10 cm of snow on the ground - varying a bit with how the winds have been blowing. Just now snowing again though, and more to be expected...

I see Germany is having problems, and prayers for all who are caught up in the winter storms, in all the countries. sometimes black and white is just the best way to go and this is one of those
ReplyDeleteSandra, just now, just here, the snow isn't combined with strong winds. If not for my wobbly knee I might have felt tempted to try a short winter walk. As things are, I'm glad I don't need to, though! (Managed the few meters to the rubbish bins yesterday.)
