On snowing ...

Photo from the TV news of a man skiing in Gothenburg city - where the trams stood still this morning. Many buses were also cancelled, and trains running late, and schools have been closed... etc.

  1. The snow looks pretty when viewed from indoors and warmth.

    1. Terra, today I definitely preferred looking at it from indoors...

  2. The birds look like they are actually taking a bath in the snow. I have never seen this Pooh video! Looks like you may be stuck inside for awhile.

    1. Sandra, although growing up with snowy winters, and woods just behind our house, I never learned to keep my balance on skis myself. I gave up on that already when I was around 12, I think...

    1. Ro, just now we're mostly wondering when it will stop...!! Causing no end of trouble in traffic etc and in many places a lot worse than just around here...

  6. Similarly here, we've seen pictures on TV last night of people skiing rather than walking or taking their bikes to work, where it was possible. Thankfully, I had no problems getting to the station and back, but the relatively steep hill between my office building and the station there was a little tricky. I walked with baby steps in spite of wearing my best profiled shoes.

  7. I'm sat here patiently waiting for snow. I'm a community snow warden (volunteer) so I could be busy tomorrow.

  8. Now that IS a snowfall. We get over-excited in most of England if a few flakes fall.

    1. Janice, we've certainly had more than just a few flakes here to start the new year...
