At the Railway Jubilee last weekend, there was also to be a parade of vintage cars. We did not have time to stay for that, but walking through the parking lot near the station we found several old cars that had probably come for that purpose :)
If you missed the steam train post, you will find it here.

Herlige! Det var da biler hadde karakter det. Snur meg alltid etter gamle biler med et stort smil :)
ReplyDeleteSo love the style and drama of vintage cars. Like unique personalities. These are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteFFun post!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteI am ALL about this! We just went to a vintage car show last month, but you beat me by MILES!!! Dolly looks just like our VW. Bugs!! The black car looks like an old fashioned hearse. I love the light blue and red cars. I would like the blue Morris, and that teeny yellow, if I could fit in it!! I have never in my life heard of that car, mush less could pronounce it. WHY have I never heard of that cute little car?
ReplyDeleteOoh ooh ooh these cars are bright and shiny and look as if they just drove off the car dealer's lot....love them all.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting to see vintage cars and models I have never seen! Cars can be really beautiful...at times!
ReplyDeleteLovely and nostalgic!
ReplyDeletethese are all beautiful, i like the Morris best of all and the first shot of the Dolly... i love old cars, they had personality and could be recognized and named, now they all look a like and i have to read what it is.
ReplyDeleteCool cars. Would love to take a spin in one of them.

Oh that was so much fun. Great cars...and your photography...GREAT!
ReplyDeleteSuper. And, from a photographic point of view, I loved the reflection of the bike in the Volvo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cars! I like the old PV ones and remember my grandad having one for many years.
ReplyDeleteI do love old cars. I had a split windscreen Morris Minor and a Saab95 just a bit more recent than the ones shown there. However the pièce de résistance for me is the yellow Messerschmitt for three reasons: I love the colour, I think they were a wonderfully quirky idea and you have provided the answer to a competition in a magazine from my insurance company that I was reading this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWonderfull old car,greeting from Belgium
