My aunt and uncle were in town and we had decided to meet up this morning and go for a walk to look at some of the street art. The clear blue sky was an unexpected bonus - more cloudy weather had been predicted! Nature itself is displaying an absolutely gorgeous palette of colours just now.
All of you who follow this blog regularly already know that I love water reflections…

Really like the murals! If we get to see these fall colors it's only in little splashes. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOctober has been really lovely here this year, Jeannette - not much frost yet, but dry and still. The first few frost nights and/or next rainstorm will no doubt change the picture quickly!
DeleteWhat wonderful art you found and beautiful place and of course excellent shots!
ReplyDeleteHappy Week to you,
artmusedog and carol
Thanks Carol.
DeleteReally enjoyed your photos today, looks like you're having beautiful fall weather.
ReplyDeleteYes we are, Janet - and knowing that it will soon all be gone, one feels almost guilty if one has to stay indoors!
DeleteWhat a spectacular autumn day.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
You made the most of a wonderful sunny day, and you certainly were perfectly dressed for the occasion :-)
ReplyDeleteMeike, orange is an unusual colour in my wardrobe, but on a day like this, it feels just right! ;) (That scarf was a gift from a friend, years ago.)
Deleteyou look fantastic alll dressed for the cold and all the reflecitons are fantastic, i LOVE the little fisherman under the bridge...
ReplyDeleteOne thing that fascinates with all the street art is that it looks slightly different in different kinds of light, and the time of day etc.
Deletewonderful photos and i love that sculpture!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these photos from your part of Sweden. I was in Gothenburg in April last year and i couldn't wait to go back.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours of the changing leaves on the trees....so incredibly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Virginia - and everyone else I haven't already replied to!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of those posts where I linger and enjoy. The colours are so beautiful and the subjects so interesting. I like the splash of autumn colour that is your scarf too. We had a few calm beautiful days like that too but we've gales today.
ReplyDeleteRain and wind here too today, Graham. But until now, October has offered mostly dry and still weather - and lots of colour. I'm thankful, as each such day feels a bit like charging the batteries before having to face winter!
DeleteBeautiful autumn colours and lovely reflections.
