Weekend Reflections

Photos from my walk into the city centre (Borås, Sweden) on Thursday this week. After a rainy and windy period, this was a day with blue sky and the river still like a mirror. The building covered in plastic is being renovated. It was one of the first buildings here to be decorated with a large mural, ten years ago. (Link to a Weekend Reflections post from back then.) This summer, it will be getting a new and different one. A few other murals will also be replaced during this year's Art Biennial.

wow, these reflections are perfect. My favorite is the middle one with the beautiful tree. And the reflection of it shows all the same details!

Yes lovely reflections and the water is so still, nice to see some blue skies there.

It was the perfect day for it, with the river really as still as a mirror. The suface of the water looks like glass, with the tufty white clouds in the azure sky. Beautiful!

Amy, the weather is still very "mixed" but they say now that it's going to get more spring-like next week.

Thanks Meike. Back to semi-cloudy and showers over the weekend, but getting warmer. (14'C just now, around noon on Sunday)

There is something uniquely appealing about reflections. Here in Ontario, in the fall, when the colours are at their best, it is difficult to see where trees and reflection merge, it is so intense and perfect.
