Postcard: Temporary Street Art by David Zinn

I just have to share this (postcrossing) postcard I received today from Detroit, Michigan, USA. Looking up the artist David Zinn’s website www.zinnart.com I found lots more of the same kind – amazing and amusing at the same time! I also learn that his temporary street art is composed entirely of chalk, charcoal and found objects, and is always improvised on location. Wow.

Sandra, I'm amazed at the 3D effect he manages to create. I don't think I've seen his work before, as it's rather unforgettable! I do keep learning things from this postcrossing hobby, as well as from blogging :)
There will be a street art festival in my town in the autumn. I wish they'd invite this guy! :)

This is great! A brilliantly creative mind, and the talented hands to hold the chalk to go with it.
