It’s been a wet week. There are other places in Sweden where the rain has caused a lot worse flooding than just around here (with severe traffic problems etc) – but I can imagine the owners of these garages (down the street from where I live) not being exactly overjoyed about their new ‘lake view’ either…

Although most of us dislike flooded streets, it does make for lovely reflections. Here in the USA, some of our states are in dire straits because of flooding, but poor California is ihaving its worst drought ever.
I hope their cars were OUT it looks like no driving in or out... we are having floods all over the country but not where we are.. this is a beautiful reflection. you have a gift for finding perfect reflections
It's been a rather wet period here, too, and today was forecast more rain, but we were lucky and had a sunny (although chilly and windy) Sunday which was perfect for a long walk / hike with my sister. The lake where we went past wasn't flooding but the water level did look a bit higher than usual.
Oh my gosh, have any houses been flooded?
The misfortune of some make the happyness of other : they can't be happy about the view on the lake, but the picture is really pretty. I hope the flood will downsize soon.
Great picture!
Thank you & best wishes from Germany south west (not flooded).
Wet here on Lewis too but no flooding like that although a few weeks ago the Highlands had a really rough time. It's Global Wetting you know.
Looks like you're having the same type of weather as we have here in Ireland right now. These are great reflections. Enjoy your week!
Not just around here, that I know of - but in other locations in the area, yes.
Global Wetting... ha, good one. Well, we also had Global Warming back in July, so perhaps somewhere in the universe it evens up - who knows!
I always enjoy your reflections. It has been awful wet here but I'm basking in dawn till dusk sunshine.
I hope the flood water runs off soon...I feel sorry for those poor people who can't get into their garages....I hope they don't sustain much damage.
