these are so pretty and the perfect colors for this time of year... i would love to pick a few and put on my kitchen table. of course i know you can't pick flowers in public places but i want to
There are a few gardens in my neighbourhood that are at their best this time of year, with flowers just like the ones in your pictures. Their colours are wonderful!
I wonder if we appreciate late summer flowers more because we know they will soon be gone. I have an app on my phone called Plantsnap. Take a photo of a plant and it identifies it for you - most of the time accurately. Doesn't seem to like plants on a screen though.

ReplyDeleteWow, lots of beauty. I recognize the Zinnias, but what are the lavender flowers, Foxglove?
ReplyDeleteI got carried away with your post yet again. This time I was trying to find out what the flower in the second picture is.

ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I'm not sure of the name of any of these flowers.
