"It took me time to understand my water lilies. I had planted them for
the pleasure of it; I grew them without ever thinking of painting them." / Claude Monet
“Where does the rainbow end, in your soul or on the horizon?” / Pablo Neruda
Wow, a fountain ranbow! You were there at the perfect time! And the water lilies are gorgeous; and so many of them. This is a very rare sight around here.
Thanks everyone for your comments :) Forgot to say, the first three (with the fountain and the many flowers) are from back in July. But the zoomed in photos were taken a week ago. There are not as many in bloom now as in July, but summer is not quite over yet...

ReplyDeleteLovely, such a vibrant Pink
ReplyDeleteI've only had one flower on my water lilies in the last few years. Seeing all the beautiful ones in your picture is lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots - the "rainbow" and those gorgeous water lilies.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures, Monica! It looks so summerly still, not like we're approaching the last third of September.
ReplyDeleteI love the fountain! My favorite is the collage that's the fourth one down and those close up Zoom photos of the flowers are just awesome
