Squirrel
Met this little guy today on my daily walk around the old cemetery. I see squirrels there quite often but usually they don't stay around long enough for me to get the camera or phone out to take a photo. This one kept staring back at me for a while though! The squirrels we have here are the red European ones.

ReplyDeleteAs you know, we have the same variety here. There are plenty in my neighbourhood but I have not seen "mine" in a while; I guess it's been too hot for them to run around outside during the day and they find themselves a shady spot to wait out the day's heat.
ReplyDeleteWe have ordinary grey ones here. There are quite a few locally and they make me laugh as they run along the power lines - they are so sure-footed and have remarkable balance.
