Water Lilies

Walking into town yesterday, I noticed the water lilies in bloom in the river.

"It took me time to understand my water lilies. I had planted them for the pleasure of it; I grew them without ever thinking of painting them." ~ Claude Monet

How lovely. I really like the big pink one. How long do the blooms last?

Wonderful, I don't remember seeing the bright pink ones before!

Ginny, I don't know. I've never kept track of an individual lily, I just associate them with this time of year, i.e. late summer.

Oh we do love Monet and your photos show some gorgeous water lilies. Are they native to Sweden?
