The weather has stayed wintry all week, and I have been able to keep up my daily walks. The photos in this post are from yesterday - 11th January, around 2-2:30 pm. Clear blue sky when I set out, but on my way back the sun was sinking into clouds on the horizon.

Beutiful shots. I just wish the sun could stay around a bit longer at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteSorry, that should be beautiful....
DeleteJC, on sunny days it is already obvious here that the days are getting longer again, though (compared to back around Christmas)... At least one thing in this world that's still rather predictable! :)
DeleteI love the spots of sun shining on the building, then reflecting into the water! We have had no snow this year.
ReplyDeleteGinny, today we're back to thaw and slush here. And probably have several ups and downs yet to come before winter is over...
DeleteThat’s great news you’re able to keep up your daily walks and that stinking sun sure makes the trees look so beautiful of course I like the other view to your reflections are always beautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra. It was a beautiful day.
DeleteToll die Spiegelung im Fluss und die bezaubernden Himmelsbilder!
ReplyDeleteVielen Dank, Liselotte!

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Chris!
DeleteBeautiful skies and a perfect day for a walk!
ReplyDeleteThanks SPP
DeleteWe've been having constant below-zero temperatures for a week now, which means what little snow fell last Sunday is still around, and more is forecast for tomorrow (Monday). Then there will be a succession of ups and down, everything between -8 to +8C, snow and rain.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I can already see how we have daylight for longer now than before Christmas, and the birds know it, too.
Meike, here we had a day of thaw yesterday = back to dangerously icy...
DeleteThank you for sharing the stunning sunset with jet trails.
ReplyDeleteThanks Crane :)
