Bookish Postcards
Two bookish postcards that arrived last week, only a few days apart, from my "favourite British brothers" ... Made me laugh as I seem to have buried myself in books a lot after New Year!
This week I'm reading a novel in Swedish for a change. (No point in writing details here as it's not available in English...)

these are cute. you can add left on the beach to the second one. that happens a lot here. we see them laying on benches and other places. I stopped reading to come check email and feedly, going back to reading now
We obviously know you well!
These are good postcards. I don't know where people find ones like this!
Really cute postcards. Especially like the last one, and I have serveral books that have the corners eaten off when Mollly was just a puppy. Thank goodness, she outgrew that stage as I have books everywhere.
Graham, after ten years of blogging friendship you're both like extended family to me by now! :)
Sandra that reminds me that I've read/heard about people also leaving books behind on purpose in public places, rather than getting rid of them in other ways if they don't want to keep them.
Neither do I, Ginny!
Wanda, I have no children or pets to blame :) The "lent to unreliable friend" may have happened once or twice in the past, though... (Not so often lately as nowadays I mostly download books to Kindle or Audible!)
