Wintry Postcards

While waiting for the snow to melt away (the rain is still working on it!), here are some wintry postcrossing postcards from January:

From Germany

A Moomin card from Finland

A Unicorn card from the US

Graham, the creator of the Moomin world, Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was a Finland-Swedish novelist, painter and illustrator. I.e. born in Finland but with (Finland-)Swedish as her first language. Finland-Swedish is a dialect of Swedish with a characteristic accent compared to standard Swedish, but otherwise basically the same grammar etc. (I'd say comparable to for example English as spoken in Scotland vs England.)
