I am soooooo envious of your snowdrops. I have a measly 3 so far poking above the ground.
Graham, I can only hope that ours won't have reason to regret coming out so early!
Snowdrops are always a welcome sight. It must be nice to have a milder than usual winter.
Pauline, it is a bit ambiguous. I appreciate the streets not being icy. But at the same time it somehow feels unnatural, and underlining the general worries about climate change.
This is maybe the mildest winter I have ever known. Wish we had those snowdrops, they are lovely!
Strange that your winter seems similar. (Or maybe not, as it's the same ocean between us?)
I have yet to see one single flake of snow, Monica. This weekend, the forecast is for temperatures up to 18 Celsius - definitely not what you'd expect in an average February. Snowdrops are lovely!
Meike, I we had a bit of snow for two or three days, but it melted away again very quickly.
So early for the snowdrops! Lovely.
Fi, yes it is early... I hope winter does not change its mind!
I have heard from bloggers in Norway and Amsterdam and you that the winter is so mild. I know you enjoy it but it is a little worrisome. we have had record breaking warmth for January and Feb. we had to run AC for a couple of days. unheard of
Sandra, yes, and it seems to be the same in Germany as well. No need for AC though! :)
Such a lovely found!! This is the beautiful side of this weather situation. isabellareal poetry
