Pretty in Pink - and Red!

I don't have a lot of flowers on my balcony this year; but one of my geraniums, which had pink flowers when I bought it back in spring, has recently surprised me by producing red ones as well, on the same plant. And even stranger (?) - some that are part pink, part red!

  1. Geraniums are so tough over Summer, I have mine in pots on our deck outside, so far they've kept going through Winter.

    1. Amy, our winters here are too cold for them, but they're still among the best plants to have on my balcony throughout the season from spring and into autumn (until frost). Sometimes I manage to get some to survive indoors over winter, but they're not really fond of the winter indoors climate either, so I usually end up buying new ones in spring.

  3. That is amazing! I have never noticed different colours on one single blossom with geraniums.
