Unnamed (?) umbrella sculpture by unknown artist. Unbelievably ugly? or funny? or ultimately an underestimated unique illustration of the unfathomable Universe?
Ummm! it isn't what you usually see in hospital corridors, but it is colorful and it is a great one for the U Day! Have to take them where we find them sometimes. I did get a big chuckle out of this one!! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!
Ginny - I have to apologize for some of my rather desperate U-words. "They" probably know who made it, and "he" might well have a name for it! I just can't remember seeing a sign to enlighten me. But then I didn't exactly crawl round the back in search of it... LOL

Hmmm, I suppose the hospital could be suggesting they "have you covered" regardless of what happens!? Definitely unusual.
Nice thing to come across in a hospital. A levitating man under an umbrella will not step into any puddles so will not get wet:-)

PS. I passed this sculpture again today and this time I found the sign. It does have a name: Weather statue, by Truls Melin.
