Everything At Once

We have been thrown into sudden summer temperatures here. Nature is having a hard time catching up with itself and is giving us all the spring flowers  and all the greens (and various kinds of tree pollen) all at once. Humans get in an awful hurry too, stowing away winter things and getting out summer things. And while in winter there is a strict difference between “indoors” and “outdoors” life (doors and windows tightly shut, and many layers of clothes when you go out), in summer it’s suddenly a different, much more “open”, and also much noisier world. (Who needs to travel, when the seasons transform the world around you anyway??)

Here are some random pictures from the last 1½ week.

These are just gorgeous!! I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite, but will try. I recognize the Grape Hyacinth beside tulips! Gosh, there are just rows upon rows of beautiful flowers. I think my favorites are 2, 7, 13, and your gorgeous balcony.

Hello DawnTreader, What an excellent post! Love your photos. The flowers are beautiful and you have a wonderful eye for framing up the photos. Thank you for sharing. John

They are all lovely pictures, my favourite being the one with the pink trees framing the bright green one. Here, we seem to have moved from winter to summer almost completely skipping spring, but of course we did have spring, only that it all happened so very fast (and half of the time I was reconvalescing so didn't get to see much of it).
