No Limit 2020 (4)

Picking up where I left off in the previous post, on my walk to look at the finished new murals, created in mid September. As I had forgotten to bring my map (acquired during the weekend they were being painted), I had to rely on memory to find them - so of course I again missed two or three. But with the ones I found, I tried to remember to also take photos including a bit of their surroundings or "context".

Artist: Etile

"Etile uses a style called Calligrafitti, which is a mix between calligraphy and grafitti."

(Nature's own artwork)

Artist: Q

"Q is a versatile artist who can be found in a wide range of mediums, such as murals, photography, film and sculpture."

---

More murals to come... (For some reason I'm finding it a very time-consuming "trial and error" kind of challenge these days to create posts with many images in the same post.)

The calligraphy is so awesome! Wonder how on earth he got everything so even and all the same size! I like the colors in Q.

Good idea to show us a bit of context.
Nature is the best of all artists, isn't it! (I know "Nature" is often referred to as female, but to me, it is neutral.)

I have to confess that I'm not keen on Etile. Q is more 'watchable' but not up with many of the ones you've shown so far. One cannot argue with the works of nature though.

that last one, I love the look on the face of the LeafMan! i can't imaginge how hard it was to paint that circle... good job on showing the up close plus the context shots. I like to see the details but also the big view.... can't wait to see the others

Love seeing these unique murals. Calligrafitti is new to me. Always good to learn something.

Ginny, I like the calligraffiti one a lot as well.

Meike, the autumn colours in the trees are indeed hard to match... One great thing about the murals is that they'll still be there providing some colour even in the winter months, though. :)

Graham, I feel quite drawn to the calligrafitti one myself, because it's "different". (Spoiled as we are in this city now, with lots of murals!)
