It’s does not seem quite fair somehow that after six dull colourless months in black and white, Nature just explodes like fireworks all over the place. How is one gal and her little camera going to keep up with it all? (All the photos in this post are from today.)

Macro Monday
You are such an excellent nature photographer! I think my fav is the Rowan, so different from any plants I have ever seen!
ReplyDeletethey are each and every one amazing flowers and so are your photos of them.. super macro shots...i pick the Rowan and the horse chestnut since they are so different from what i have ever seen. the colors of the lilac are so pretty
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'm breathless! These are so stunning!! Such a variety of flowers, colors, and I'm sure fragrances.
ReplyDeleteSomething from the Bible comes to mind: Not even King Solomon in all his glory dressed like one of these... Oh yes, I know that this referred to the lilies on the fields, but the flowers on your pictures are all gloriously beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOr is it splendour instead of glory? Well, you know what I mean, don't you!
DeleteI know what you mean! I also suspect Jesus might just as well have said the same thing about any beautiful flower that happened to be around when he needed an illustration... :)
DeleteStunningly beautiful....love these floral macro shots.
ReplyDeleteAren't you delighted that spring has finally sprung? Keep that battery charged up, I can't wait to see more photos.
Oh yes Virginia, I am delighted. It's just that some flowers seem to hardly have time to say hello before they drop their petals again... Hard job to keep up and catch them before they go! :)
DeleteSpring really has sprung with you.
