Sometimes I wish The House (my parents’ old place, which we are preparing to sell) were just a very small cottage like this… That’s only a fleeting daydream, though. I know even a summer cottage this size would require more work and care than I’m really able/willing to put in. I was just enchanted by it when I passed by. :)
(This whole cottage would probably fit into the living room in The House.)
Linking to Blue Monday
It's a little gem. Just perfect, small living spaces with large gardens are perfect.
ReplyDeleteI can't really picture you staying in one place long enough to grow a garden, Adrian ;)
DeleteToo bad you have to sell your house. I'm sure it's connected to a lot of memories. This one looks nice though.

Mersad, The House is certainly connected with a lot of memories. It was never my own home, but it's the one house that has been "in the family" my whole life. My grandparents built the original house and my parents added to it and made it their home in their retirement years. It's never been my dream to live there myself though. Even if there is some nostalgia involved I think I'll feel relieved once the whole process of selling the place is behind us.
DeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE this little cottage, and the cute picket fence too.
ReplyDeletethis cottage is what I have always dreamed of, I love the house, the fence and they gardens... I want it, truly I do... can you ship it here? LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is a particularly darling cottage. Perhaps it's the color!

ReplyDeleteDelightful photo and can see how you would love it ~ carol, ^_^
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is adorable!!! Cute as a button, no steps, and even a nice porch. And they even have lovely flowers and a fence. This one will be in my dreams tonight.
ReplyDeleteMonica I would be so tempted, if I lived in a city and were able to do so, to indulge myself with a garden and a little place like that.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you would, GB. :) For me, the temptation remains theoretical.
Deletewhat a sweet little house,it would be perfect for a sewing studio in the back yard, I dream of such sweet things too lol!
