Today was a drizzly grey morning, but one hardly noticed the rain because of Nature’s specactular show of self-luminous colours.
Today for me was my first day back at the Rehab pool (after three months ‘break’). This is from outside the building; photo taken with my mobile phone.
…Now just imagine yourself being inside, floating in warm water, and looking out through the windows at the sparkling symphony of those trees… :)
And here are a few more photos from the way home (I walked part of the way):
What spectacular colors, only a few of our trees change colors and drop their leaves so I always appreciate photos like yours.
ReplyDeletenot even rain can dampen those colors and i am imaging floating and looking at them. spectacular.
ReplyDeleteEven that graveyard looks great with the fall foliage!

The path with the square decorations on the ground, is that still the front of rehab? I adore the wonderful shot of the trees with the railroad tracks below, be still my heart!!! And of course your first shot, just breathtaking!!! So they have big windows and you can see all this as you are floating in the pool, WOW!! I imagine you feel much better when you go back, maybe you have more energy?
ReplyDeleteGinny, only the 1st photo is from the hospital (rehab). The 3rd and 4th are from a cemetery (on the left side of the road in the last photo; while I live on the other side of the railway (out of sight).
DeleteThose trees were painted by God, how glorious to see them as you float in a warm pool.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful pictures, and I guess the beautiful surroundings add to the benefits of therapy.
ReplyDeleteThe Rehab centre is a separate building on the hospital grounds and there is a walkpath and a bit of "nature" behind that building. Only the first photo in this post is from the hospital area though. I took the bus back from the hospital to the town centre (where all the bus lines meet), and then (instead of waiting for another bus) walked from there back to where I live; along the river for a while, and then across a cemetery. I have several possibilities to choose from when walking between the town centre and my home.
DeleteWhat a wonderful sight! I love these autumn leaves.
ReplyDeleteThe colours of autumn: my favourites!
ReplyDeleteit's so beautiful. and even more beautiful it seems to me, that you are able to see and to enjoy it. that's so precious!
ReplyDeleteby the way I love the change of your header photos. every time I come here, it is a new suprise
:-)
I love the colours of the leaves when they're changing for fall. I don't have that luxury here, and it's always nice to see photos....thanks.
ReplyDeleteYes, I can just feel that warm water and the lovely view outside. I especially loved the picture of the cemetery.
