All of the above are macro photos from the top of this stone wall running along the cemetery:

Temperature around -12°C (10°F)...

    1. If I didn't know it was my own shadow, I'd be scared of it! :)

  3. Wow, these are great, Monica!
-12C... oh dear... I know it can get much colder than that in your area, and also where I live, but I hope it won't come to that this winter. We've actually had some snow here today, but I think it was still just slightly above zero.

    1. Thanks Meike. We seem to be into a cold spell here. Got a little more snow today too (but only a very thin layer).

    1. Thanks Adrian. The stone wall is very convenient... Did not have to bend down to take these macros!

  7. I always enjoy your macro photos Monica...the snow is so beautiful and really good to view it on that level.
Not sure I'd be out and about in -12 degrees C, but the photos were worth it.

    1. I do try to get out for a little while most days, Virigina, even if not very far. (The cemetery is only a few minutes walk from where I live. Getting dressed for going out in this weather takes longer than the actual walk from here to there, though!)

  8. Lovely! I enjoy looking on the top of walls at all time of year, there are often such interesting tiny plants growing on them.
