So this is the front gate of a castle courtyard? Very impressive! Did you go through?

Yes. We could only go into the courtyard though, not into the building.
I would kind of expect the entrance to be alot bigger for a castle courtyard. Did you go through to the other side?
Amy, to be honest I no longer remember the exact layout of the place (there was more than one building on the estate). I think we parked near this gateway though and walked through that to get to the old castle (which will appear in the next post).
