Just Walkin'

Above: Friday - walking around the old cemetery

Below: Saturday - walking into town and back

On Saturday afternoon I also spent some time preparing a post on my blog Greetings from the Past, for the Sepia Saturday October theme "Special Times". You can read that post here. It goes a bit beyond my personal family history - but it was my grandfather who took the photos!

    1. Ginny, it was probably the peak of this season, with sun and blue sky and no wind. Now more leaves are dropping to the ground every day.

  5. Because I wasn't well, I have not been to the palace grounds or the deer park last week, but I guess the colours there would have been similarly beautiful. The luminosity in your photos... they are simply gorgeous!
I am now going to check your your "past" post.

    1. Thanks Meike. Although we've had some rain we've not had much wind just lately, which is no doubt why so many yellow leaves are still hanging on to the trees :)

  6. Fabulous! It seems that in just a day or two the trees have all turned such glorious colours.

    1. Carol, hopefully we'll get to enjoy it for a few days more, but of course more leaves are dropping to the ground every day now.
