For Weekend Reflections & Sky Watch Friday
The ice on the river has been receding since I last walked this way. I wish it would do the same on the streets, but they are threatening us with more snow this weekend. There were some curious wave-shaped clouds on the sky today when I was walking to the supermarket; and I stopped on the bridge to take a photo.

this is really interesting, the left side looks cold and frozen, the right side looks melted and the reflections are wonderful. really good shot here
Awesome skies and terrific reflections!! You got them all today!! It does look SO cold, but SO beautiful! Hope you have a great weekend! Stay warm!

Beautiful picture, I love the reflections on the river.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!

I can see you on the bridge!!! And the clouds are reflected in the water!!! Awesome, Monica!
Beautifully composed. Those clouds are most unusual - and you have a good shadow self-portrait too!
Really marvelous image... both for the clouds AND the reflections. The composition is just perfect! And it seems you may even be in the picture (your shadow, anyway).
A lot going on in this photo... beautiful sky, shadow, and reflections! Happy Skywatch.
this is beautiful!!
a wonderful scene
the clouds look as if someone ran a comb through them
The cloud reflection really adds to the beauty of the scene. Are those cloud formations normal where you live? - they look wonderfully different to what I see.
Yet another lovely reflection.
so many interesting things to see in this wonderful shot!
Beautiful, Monika! The wavy sky as well as the reflections!
Thanks all for your comments.
Pauline: No that cloud formation seemed very unusual to me, that's one reason why I took that photo.
Super clouds - there was a time when I tried to identify the different formations but I found it very difficult.
Perfect reflections - lovely picture.
What a beautiful composition with so many wonderful variables from light to reflections, shadows and conrasts.
Not only is the river scene and the sky beautiful but this is one case where having the taker in the picture as well enhances it.
