Continuing my Saturday walk; to a little park by a dam and waterfall in the river.
Rowan berries |
OK, now I want to know if anyone else sees what I see in the next picture (below)?
A gentle green giant sitting down to rest on a park bench...
(Once seen, I can't un-see it!)
Views from up on the bridge, looking south vs north. |
I spotted the gentle green giant instantly, too :-)
ReplyDeleteNice colours, and they will become even more prominent over the next weeks.
Meike, yes, inevitably the change will go on... As for the intensity of the colours one just has to wait and see! as that depends a bit on sun/rain/frost etc
DeleteYes, it does look almost "human" though I thought I could see a giant bird sitting there! The "face" looks almost as though it has a beak open and laughing!
ReplyDeleteEverywhere looks pristine, so the leaves haven't started falling just yet.
CG, lots of leaves on the ground already in some places, but it varies a lot. We haven't had any frosty nights yet.
DeleteI saw the man sitting but did not think gentle green giant. i do see that now. gorgeous berries and love all of these except the thought of going up and down those stairs
ReplyDeleteSandra, there is also an alternative roundabout way to get down/up if one can't manage the stairs. (Still a slope, though.) I don't normally have a problem with the stairs. Perhaps in winter. But no need for me to go down there unless I want to! ;)
DeleteSo so pretty, my favourite colours.
