I never know what I’ll find when I go into town on a Saturday. This week I found a demonstration of crossfit training going on in the park. Personally I find it strenuous enough just to hold the camera steady for a short video:
- How about you guys? Sure you don’t want to try?
(Yes, I heard her ask them!)

“Look, I really don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive, you got to flap your arms and legs, you got to jump around a lot, you got to make a lot of noise, because life is the very opposite of death. And therefore, as I see it, if you're quiet, you're not living. You've got to be noisy, or at least your thoughts should be noisy and colorful and lively.”
~ Mel Brooks ~
Hmm… I think I’ll stick with…
“Cogito ergo sum / I think, therefore I am.”
~ René Descartes ~

To be alive does not necessary mean to be noisy - I'm glad it doesn't, or I'd really go mad! The world is noisy enough as it is :-D
But I'm all for fitness and putting those wonderful bodies we have to good use.
That's a very interesting quote!!! I only wish I could do stuff like this!! I never know what will be going on in your town!!!
My motto has now become Blogito ergo sum!
Today I keep seeing pictures that tell a story. That last shot sure does. Can't tell from the shot what the lady is suggesting but it's pretty obvious those guys are having no part of it. I really like a photo that makes me smile.
Just watching those chaps jumping in the video hurt my knee! I bet the two police officers are pretty fit anyway. They would have to be to chase someone with all that hardware strapped on.
i doubt i could get on one of those boxes if they had steps or a ladder. wow. that is a lot of energy and jumping. i CAN wave my arms, but like you, i like the last comment best
