Wonderful! I am almost struck dumb by these pictures! But you know with me, I have to talk!! Bob Dylan's words that you chose for these pictures are beyond poignant! For me, it represents things fading toward the end. With the pictures and words put together, it is powerful. The yellow leaves, rock wall, and dam are so enchanting. I now have chills up and down my arms. Just the few words that you chose now show me that he did indeed deserve the Nobel. You are a master at posting.
Thanks Ginny. That album by Dylan, Modern Times from 2006, is one I sometimes listen to when out walking for exercise (and not stopping every other minute for photos). It has got some good walking rhythms too :)
Isn't it nice living in a part of the world where the seasons change like that? I would sorely miss that if I were to live in the tropics or so. There is still an amazing amount of green on the trees, especially visible in the first two pictures.
Yes Meike, I agree. We've also been lucky this autumn to have had neither much frost nor a lot of heavy rain and strong winds in October - which means quite a long season of slowly shifting colours.
So pretty. Nothing like the place I live. Completely different colours and light.
ReplyDeleteWell Louise - it is on the other side of the world! :)

DeleteAbsolutely beautiful, you have certainly captured the look of autumn.
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet. We've had a slow and colourful autumn this year, and I'm grateful for the beauty offered :)
