Yes... I know this puddle always forms after heavy rain, and I've taken similar photos a couple of times before - but it's not every year that we get blessed with all these colours! (It's thanks to the autumn on the whole having been rather mild and dry, I think.)
Hi DawnTreader, Interesting reflection photos. You definitely have the “photographer’s eye”. Wonder if you were out on a routine walk when you snapped these pics? In any event, thanks for sharing!
Yes I guess you could say that... As it is pretty much my routine to bring the camera everywhere (or if not the camera, at least the cellphone, which takes decent photos as well).
Which just goes to show that you can create beautiful autumnal shots without bright sunlight.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves this autumn seem to have absorbed so much sunlight that they are almost self-luminous, even on a grey day!
DeleteWonderful! And even the tree's reflelection has fall leaves!

DeleteI love both photos. can't decide which I like best. I think the second one, the leaves on the ground and the water are pleasing to the eye
ReplyDeleteYes, that's my favourite as well. I just wanted to also show "the bigger picture" with the first one (with the actual tree).
DeleteA beautiful time of year reflected! I love it! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks James!
