Could this have been taken at the same museum as the picture with the suitcases? I can identify most of the spices but am not sure whether Ingefära is ginger or something else.
Logical guess, Meike - but no. This is not from the country store museum but from one of the other several museums of local history that we visited during our trip: The Old Farmhouse at Duvemåla The labels on the spice jars are: Ginger, Cardamom, Clove, White Pepper, Black Pepper, Cinnamon.
Ginny, the spice jars are not mine. The photos is from one of the many museums we visited back in the summer (see my comment to Meike above). The jars were on top of the mantelpiece in the kitchen, probably over a hundred years old.

DeleteI guessed right then :-)
DeleteOld spice jars? Do the lids have shakers? I would love some like this, but new and shiny.
