The Japanese cherry blossom trees in the Town Park are later to burst into bloom than similar trees in some other parks and gardens. I suppose there are a few different varieties. Anyway they’re absolutely gorgeous when they’re at their best… I hope no one minds that include a few more pictures in this post than just the one with the best water reflection!

Absolutely gorgeous. I'm used to very fullsome blossom in NZ but that is really attractive even by their standards.
ReplyDeletethese are wonderful, I would love to sit on that bench the girl is on and just stare and stare and stare and of course snap and snap and snap with you.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos. Love the reflection.
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful!
ReplyDeletethe color reflected in the water is amazing
ReplyDeleteI'm late, I'm late, for a very important date:to visit YOU! NOT too many pictures, each one showcases something different! The first one is the beautiful reflection, the second is the trees themselves, the third is the woman sitting in solitude, and the fourth and fifth are the blossoms. It is so hard to decide which to leave out when we have so many awesome pictures, I struggle with that. But none of yours are alike.
ReplyDeleteThanks all :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a blossoming cherry tree in our garden. The blossom looks lovely for a week, and then the wind blows and it looks like it's a blizzard outside. The last of the blossom disappeared last weekend.
ReplyDeleteStunning reflection ! This pink looks so unreal among the blue of the sky and the green of the vegetation...
