these are amazing, so beautiful and i have never seen any thing like this... even when i lived in KY as a child we only had snow, nothing like this. fantastic finds....

Oh MONICA!!! I am speechless, tingles up my neck and have tears in my eyes!! Really, and all from these pictures. You must do something with them, enter them in a contest or something. At least make a collage and frame them to put out somewhere. Can I copy them and frame them to keep here? I think I will get a big frame and put them in our cold blue kitchen. I can't wait.

Such delicate beauty! Still, I am glad that we "only" got a temperature as low as -8 or -10 Celsius on Saturday night. It was almost -20 in February this year...

Wonderful photos Monica. Sigh. There are times when I would love to see weather like that again: cold, crisp, clear blue skies and snow lying everywhere. It's an ideal, of course, and not something one wants all the time but I can recall a time in 1987 (I think) when we had s few days like that on Lewis. I must try and find my photos from then.
