Advent Calendar Rerun - December 1

In my early blogging years I had a second blog that I called DawnTreader's Picture Book - which has by now been in hibernation for over 10 years. (There are links in the Blog Archive at the bottom of this blog if anyone wishes to explore further.) I just managed to locate an advent calendar project that I did there way back in 2011. I'm thinking I'll do a rerun of that this year (on this blog). I may be changing some images around to different dates compared to the original, but here is the first one:
